Theme: Critical Care Spreading to Periphery

Critical Care in the state of Odisha has taken deep roots particularly in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, steel city of Rourkela, VIMSAR Burla and MKCG Medical College & Hospital, Brahmapur. A vast area of the state still remains deprived and needs to be reached. With their socio-economic status not so well, majority of people cannot reach bigger cities and even those few who can afford, lose valuable time during transport. Therefore there is a need to provide critical care to remote areas. This conference will bring specialists and students from all over the state for orientation in critical acre and will also provide ways and means to make critical care available closer to people’s homes.
